New Report Highlights Risks in the Software Supply Chain 

With 60% of organizations working with over 1,000 third parties, the risk from misconfigured software is at an all-time high. 

CyCognito has released its second annual “State of External Exposure Management 2024” report. The document is intended to provide critical insights into the threats targeting external assets and the software supply chain. Additionally, the report highlights that many vulnerabilities increasingly stem from third-party software. 

Survey Methodology 

To obtain the data for the report, CyCognito’s research team compiled and examined more than 39 million anonymized and normalized data points from its customers. This collection includes data from small, medium, and large Fortune 500 companies.
